By: Aubrianna Hunter Chapter 1 Joshua Taylor walked out of the coffee shop on the corner, hot steaming cup of black coffee all but burning his hand. He felt the sting, realized he should have gotten one of those silly sleeves, then shrugged it off and kept walking. The little bite of pain helped him feel something, and right now he needed the reminder that he was alive, a person with choices, like burning his hands, and not merely some puppet on a string. Like most women, I wear many hats and play many parts. Luckily, also like most women, I am incredibly good at multi-tasking and work extremely well under pressure! In fact, I tend to get the most accomplished when I set crazy deadlines for myself.
In addition to writing I also practice and teach yoga, spend time with my kids when they allow it, they are sixteen and twenty so I take a backseat to pretty much everything else in their lives , practice Reiki, and meditate. Health and wellness are a passion for me and will always be a primary focus as I also live with Multiple Sclerosis.
This, among other things, pulled me from my writing for several years. During that time, I found balance in my life. I discovered Reiki, pursued my love of yoga, and learned to be at peace with myself always. Now, the voices in my head have returned and are demanding to have their stories told! So, here I am Ready and willing to share the stories that swim through my head day in and day out!
